I've been in situations like this. A LOT.
I find myself playing AdventureQuest or MapleStory, and then my dad will always chase me to do my homework. It includes doing it until 1:00am or perhaps even 4:00am. And then after that, he would shout at me, and in the meantime, I'm always thinking "Can I go to bed now?"
Of course, I still do this today.
